SUMMIT CC & FM pumps are horizontal, end suction, centrifugal pumps designed for general service such as water, solvents, light oils, non-corrosive chemicals, coolants and brines. All flanges are 125lb ANSI B16.1 rating; NPT connections are standard on 6” and 8” sizes. A renewable bronze shaft sleeve is standard on cast iron pumps and a 316ss shaft sleeve is standard on alloy pumps

These 2196 pumps and parts are ANSI/ASME B73.1 compliant and will drop in place of existing ANSI/ASME B73.1 pumps and parts. Variations of the 2196 are 2196R the (Recessed), 2196LF (low flow high head) and the 2796 for self-priming applications. These four options all utilize the same dry end components and are available in the newly released Forever Frame style.

Equipped with a special impeller and cutting plate, chopper pumps will cut up a wide variety of long fibrous materials and solid objects into small, harmless pieces, that will neither block up the pump, nor the piping.
The cutting action can be compared to that of a scissors. With an operation speed of over 1400 rpm, material passing through the pumps is chopped more than 140 times per second into harmless pieces.
